Harmony’s simple engagement process comprises of the following steps:
01.
A Consultation to assess your needs
The first step in setting up an offshore team is a comprehensive consultation between you and the team at Harmony’s to gain a thorough understanding of your business needs so that we understand what is important to your business process.
Together we can then identify and prioritise your requirements and or alternatively Harmony will consider and identify the most appropriate roles to test if a member of staff resigns or retires or if a member of your offshore staff is underperforming, in addition to any new roles you may wish Harmony to recruit for you.
02.
High level plan
The analysis undertaken in Step 1 produces a high level cost and offshore staffing plan and we provide you with a cost proposal. Harmony’s pricing formula is transparent and comprised of 2 simple components: the direct employee costs, with no margin added to this ever, and Harmony’s facilities and management fee which covers the costs associated with the facilities and services Harmony provides such as human resources management, IT consultancy, operations support, workstation, furniture, IT infrastructure, equipment and connectivity.
03.
Development of position description
Harmony assists with the development of an appropriate job advertisement and position description so that there are guidelines in place to assist the new member of your offshore staff to be successful.
04.
Recruitment - Resource Pool
The correct requirements and qualifications to match your offshore staffing needs is identified in our pool of staffing resource. These advertisements are flexible in that we initially discuss with you of your requirement and make modifications until you are satisfied. Once the precise roles and requirements are agreed on, we post them on the our talent pool sites in the Philippines.
05.
Review of curricula vita
Our Talent specialists review the curricula vita of applicants. The team performs a comprehensive screening of qualifications to sort the qualified from non-qualified applicants; each specializes in a particular field.
06.
Screening and interviewing
Harmony screens and interviews the best candidates and based on these results, Harmony contacts the top shortlisted candidates to ask them to conduct a Skills Test. This test is either a written or computerised examination, or both. Harmony may provide the tests it uses or your company may provide its own examination.
You are at all times able to participate in this process, review the candidates, interview them yourself and provide additional assessments or otherwise requirements. Alternatively you can leave this to Harmony. Ultimately you specify how this process is run as it’s your team that is being established.
07.
Skype interview
The top 5 candidates who pass the Skills Test then undergo a Skype interview followed by a face-to-face interview if this hasn’t been done in the earlier stages at your specific request. The interviewer examines each candidate by assessing their qualifications, experience, verbal communication skills as well as their personality and workplace ethics.
08.
Establishment
Harmony will contact you to finalise your specific operational requirements. Together we will establish and finalise training, workflow processes, performance metrics, KPIs, reporting structures, etc. All necessary hardware, software and infrastructure is coordinated and organised. Office space is assigned and workstations prepared.
09.
Induction
Your team or team member is now ready to commence working for you. The successful candidate is inducted and job shadowed in our environment for the period of their probation after which they are hosted, supported and managed as your exclusive staff in our operational offices at your specific requirements.
You have full control over the whole offshore engagement model, including the staff you ultimately choose to work for you and the objectives and key performance indicators the staff will need to meet.
It is just like hiring locally, with the only difference being the staff are located in our offices and work remotely, not dissimilar to if you had staff based in New Zealand. You will instruct your offshore staff as you would local staff and they will complete all set tasks following your instructions within your stipulated timeframes. Harmony will oversee and drive this and provide you with reporting to confirm that you are getting the best out of your staff at all times.
